The Colonial Market Fair is a living history event

                             for family members of all ages! 

     * Make a souvenir using 18th century tools and techniques    

     * Interact with historical interpreters and hear their stories of perseverance

     * Explore hiking trails, gardens, and an orchard within Banneker Park

     * Dress-up in stylish colonial garb and role play your favorite colonial characters

     * March to the the beats of freedom from a fife and drum corps

     * Discuss the latest 18th century gossip and decide if you are loyalist or patriot 


                                Do all this and more at the 2021 Colonial Market Fair!



Saturday, June 12 and Sunday, June 13, 2021

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.


Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum

Catonsville, MD 21228



This event is free, however, a $5 parking donation is appreciated.




From Baltimore:


1. Take I-95 S to exit 49B towards I-695 W

2. Merge onto I-695 N

3. Take exit 14 to Edmondson Ave.

4. Turn left on Edmondson Ave.

5. At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Old Frederick Rd.

6. Turn right on Oella Ave.

The Park and Museum is on the left.


From Washington:


1. Take I-95 N to exit 47A-B towards Route 166/Catonsville

2. Merge onto I-195 W and take the exit towards Catonsville

3. Continue onto MD-166 N/South Rolling Rd.

4. Turn left on MD-144/Frederick Rd.

5. Turn right on Oella Ave.

The Park and Museum is on the left.
