Participate in the Colonial Market Fair!

The Colonial Market Fair wouldn't be a success without dedication from people like you. If you, or someone you know, has an interest in lending their time or their 18th century skills and expertise, please contact us by filling in the form below. 

Costumed colonial re-enactors, craftsmen, and musicians are

needed to immerse visitors in the sights and sounds of the 18th century. Past participants included, but were not limited to, a fife and drum corp, a candle maker, tobacco farmer, and a blacksmith. If you have an 18th century skill you would like to share with our visitors, please fill-in the form below. Include your name, contact information, and colonial skill.

Volunteers assist our visitors and historical interpreters with navigating the fair. If you would like to volunteer, please fill-in the form below. Include your name, contact information, desired task and time slot. Students aged 14 and older in need of Student Service Learning hours are encouraged to apply.

Tasks include:

    * Setup/breakdown (erecting tents, signs, tables and chairs; may require lifting up to 20lbs)

    * Assist with children's crafts and games

    * Parking lot attendants

    * Farmstead Walk Leader

    * Photographers and videographers

    * Greeters

    * Vegetable and herb garden docents

    * Gopher (assist wherever help is needed)

Volunteer time slots: 

Friday, June 11 (tent/table setup)

       10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 12 

       10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

       1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 13 

       10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

       1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

       4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (tent breakdown/cleanup)

Volunteers needed in the weeks leading up to the fair:

   * Marketing assistant
